A motorcyle that is very important to me, as it is the very first motorcycle that I restored and rebuild to its current state. The motorcycle was in bits and pieces and needed extensive work. This required me to learn a lot of new technques and skills.

This motorcycle was in pieces and on its way to the scrapyard. Everything on it was rusted, broken, incomplete or absent. I was a novice at this point and I purchased the parts-bike for €250,-. It was no more the a dutch-titled half of a frame, and a dodgy engine.
I had watched the Youtube video series by “for the bold” , in which he convered scrap bikes to beautiful caferacers and I got inspired. Not only to work on a motorcycle for the first time, but also to upload my journey to the internet. Because I not only enjoy the mechanical but also digital things in life.

I needed space to work on and it started using 1/3 of our shed in the backyard. Before this point i was focused more on building furniture from scaffolding (a.k.a. pine boards) which was very popular at this point. So more woodworking tools and bits in the shed instead of wrenches.
After clearing some space in our shed, i DIY-ed a lift so i could work on the bikes more easaliy. I never maded a video on the HOW-TO which i regret still. The lift has worked perfectly these past 4-5 years and has lifted all the motorcycles I put on it.
